About Grace
Grace Falls is a composer, vocalist, social worker, and storyteller whose work centers on human connection, emotional honesty, and cultural influence. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, she spent much of her childhood living across different states and visiting other countries. These experiences have continued to shape her artistic voice and perspective on community, identity, and sound.
Currently studying Music Composition and Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Grace is passionate about both music and people. Her work as a social worker deeply informs her artistic philosophy: she believes music has the power to help individuals feel seen, heard, understood, and connected. Whether through conversation, advocacy, performance, or composition, she is driven by a desire to create meaningful impact in the lives of others. As both a vocalist and composer, Grace approaches music with a deep sensitivity to expression, storytelling, and emotional communication.
Growing up as a dancer further shaped her understanding of movement and artistry, elements that remain central to her compositional style. Her music often blends contemporary classical influences with expressive textures, theatrical energy, and culturally inspired sounds.
Grace has written chamber works, solo piano music, and musical theatre. She has also been commissioned by ensembles including the Pathfinder Wind Trio and the Red Clay Saxophone Ensemble. Through both her music and her work with people, Grace seeks to create spaces for empathy, reflection, and genuine human connection.
